90+ Cellars Classic Series, Lot 188 Montepulciano d’Abruzzo.

The 90+ Cellars Classic Series added its newest wine, Lot 188 Montepulciano d’Abruzzo, its first red wine made with 100% organic grapes. The Montepulciano grapes are fermented under strict temperature control in stainless steel tanks and then matured for six to eight months in a blend of tank and barrel before being bottled. Similar in taste profile to a Chianti, this is an expressive, smooth and elegant Italian red wine. With a bright ruby color and aromas of blackberry, black currant and spice, undertones of roasted chocolate give way to smooth tannins and a balanced finish. 90+ Cellars wines are distributed in Connecticut by Latitude Beverage Company and in Rhode Island by East Coast Beverage Company.
