Angelini Wine Ltd. showcased Tuscan portfolio selections paired with cuisine during several wine dinners, as well as on local television news, in March. Three wine dinners were hosted by Strega in Milford, La Marea Ristorante in Old Saybrook and South Bay in Fairfield, each featuring special guest Salvatore Ferragamo Jr. of Il Borro Wines. Ferragamo led guests through courses inspired by the flavors of Tuscany, expertly paired with organic Tuscan wines. The highlighted wine pairings ranged from Il Borro Borrigiano, Pian di Nova, Sparkling Rosé, Chardonnay and the iconic Super Tuscan Red, among offerings. During the winemaker’s visit, Angelini Wines Ltd. and Ferragamo were featured on WFSB-TV Channel 3 Eyewitness News “Great Day Connecticut” on its recurring #winewednesday segment. Marcy Jones interviewed Ferragamo to learn more about the Ferragamo family’s wine and take viewers on a virtual Tuscan journey at the Saybrook Point Resort & Marina, where the segment was shot.
