
Angelini Wine, Ltd.’s Julius Angelini joined WFSB-TV’s “Great Day Connecticut” with host Marcy Jones for a pre-Thanksgiving wine tasting and education session. During the broadcast’s “Wine Wednesday” segment on Nov. 16, Angelini showcased selections from within the award-winning Il Borro Estate Certified Organic Italian wine line: Il Borro Lamelle Chardonnay 2021, Il Borro Rosé del Borro 2021, Il Borro Pian di Nova 2019 and Il Borro Bolle di Borro 2015. Hailing from the Tuscan region in the heart of the Valdarno, Il Borro has been crafting its 100% organic wine with respect for the land and nature since 1995. The winery and hotel, housed among a 13th-century estate, is owned by the Ferragamo family, notable for its iconic shoe empire. Native vines include Sangiovese cultivated with the international vines such as Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah.
