
Connecticut Distributors, Inc. (CDI), hosted a Belvedere Organic Infusions cocktail competition at South Bay in Greenwich on May 16. Sterling Vaughn, Trade Development Manager, Moët Hennessy, oversaw the event and served as a judge, along with Ryan Toole, Business Manager – Moët Hennessy, CDI, and Bill Feely, Market Manager – CT, Moët Hennessy. The showcase highlighted the new line from the Polish vodka, called Belvedere Organic Infusions. Four bartenders competed: Tim Bellantoni, Lugano Wine Bar & Salumeria; Patrick Martin, South Bay; Trevor Rosetta, Mecha Noodle Bar; and Anthony Rossetti, Cocktail Garnish Co., with three rounds, one for each flavor in the lineup: Belvedere Lemon & Basil, Belvedere Blackberry & Lemongrass and Belvedere Pear & Ginger. Bellantoni took the top slot for his creations. Belvedere is named after Belweder, the Polish presidential palace in Warsaw, whose illustration appears on its bottles, produced in the town of Żyrardów in Poland. Belvedere Organic Expressions are made with 100% traceable Polish rye and 100% organic real fruits and botanicals, each 40% ABV.
