Multiple beverage brands were highlighted at a specialty cocktail bar at a polo match at the Newport International Polo Grounds & Pavilion in Portsmouth on July 18. During the polo match between Newport and Pittsburgh, members of The Cocktail Guru team were on hand to create specialty cocktails for guests in the venue’s Modern Luxury Polo Lounge. Brands spotlighted during the event included the season’s sponsors Veuve Clicquot Brut Champagne and Stella Artois Beer, as well as the day’s signature cocktails using Maker’s Mark Bourbon Whisky, Roca Patrón Reposado Tequila, Van Gogh Vodka, Cutty Sark Whisky, Truly Spiked Seltzer, Monin Gourmet Flavored Syrups and Fever-Tree Tonic Mixers. Since opening on June 6 under a state-approved plan that limits guest numbers and provides social-distancing measures, Newport’s International Polo Grounds & Pavilion has hosted a number of sold-out matches in the 2020 Newport International Polo Series.
