Allan S. Goodman hosted an educational event and tasting at Little River Restoratives in Hartford on November 20, 2017, to highlight Bols Genever and Galliano L’Apertivo Italian Amaro Bitter. Bartenders and trade professionals attended as Elizabeth Kerian, Tri-State Regional Manager for Lucas Bols USA, gave a presentation on the background of the spirit line. Guests sampled a variety of cocktails made with Bols Genever, which is known as one of the oldest distilled spirits in the world. Bols Genever is distilled from a mix of corn, rye and wheat with botanicals that give it a unique flavor. The bar later served the spirits in classic recipes as well as modern and Tiki creations for its guests.
