Bouvery CV Partners with Chocolatier for Third Year

By March 28, 2025Connecticut, Top News

In time for February’s Valentine’s Day celebrations, Bouvery CV, a Connecticut-made dark chocolate vodka liqueur, collaborated with Knipschildt Chocolatier for a third year, offering bonbons that highlight a luxurious chocolate espresso martini blend for a limited-edition boxed gift of chocolate ganache. Bouvery partnered with Denmark-born and U.S.-based chocolatier Fritz Knipschildt in Norwalk, who fuses old European craftsmanship, avant-garde flavor combinations and natural ingredients. His products are sold directly to consumers and select specialty food retailers, including Stew Leonard’s in Connecticut and locations in New York, among others. First dreamed up in London in 1999 by Founder Danny Bouvery, Bouvery CV launched the namesake chocolate liqueur from his proprietary recipe. Since 2017, he has worked with Lou and Margaret Chatey at their award-winning and historic Westford Hill farm and facility, family owned since 1919. Bouvery CV uses Westford Hill locally produced Connecticut corn vodka blended with cacao sourced from South America and West Africa with the Rainforest Alliance, fair trade and UTZ certifications and natural flavors to create a rich dark chocolate taste in an artisanal liqueur offering that is gluten-free and low-fat. The liqueur is distributed in Connecticut via Votto Vines.
