The Bowen’s Wharf Seafood Festival returned to Newport on October 19 and 20. Fresh seafood offerings from more than 30 culinary vendors along with live music from six different musical guests set the stage for weekend wharf visitors. Beverage sponsors included Moët & Chandon USA, Whalers Brewing Company, Belvedere Vodka, Captain Morgan Rum, Cloudy Bay Vineyards, Ardbeg Whisky and Diageo brands. Festival attendees also sampled creative cocktails at the Belvedere Vodka hospitality tent as well as chatted with brewers from Whalers Brewing Company. Proceeds from the festival bars benefited the Oliver Hazard Perry, Rhode Island’s 200-foot official sailing education vessel.
