Brescome Barton joined thousands of job-seeking U.S. military veterans at the 3rd Annual Mohegan Sun VETS ROCK! Veteran’s Day Event and Hiring Fair where they hosted a hiring table on November 3 at the Mohegan Sun Resort & Casino. The event offered networking opportunities and workshops tailored for job-seeking veterans, active duty military members, guard and reserve members, and military families. Seminars were also offered, including a Hiring Our Heroes personal branding and employment workshop, which covered topics including résumé building, networking and interview tips, taking into account the job seeker’s military background and lifestyle. Approximately 3,000 veterans attended. Brescome Barton supports numerous nonprofits and causes providing support to active and retired service members and their families.
