The Third Annual Brescome Barton/Worldwide Wines Charity Golf Outing was held at the New Haven Country Club on September 15, 2014. Approximately 130 golfers took to the course. Sponsors included Diageo, Moet Hennessey, Beam Suntory, Bacardi, Deustch Family Wines & Spirits, Palm Bay International, Pernod Ricard, Proximo and The Connecticut Beverage Journal, among other suppliers and allied service providers. Together, Brescome Barton, Worldwide Wines, sponsors and participants raised more than $70,000 for the Marine Corps-Law Enforcement Foundation (MC-LEF). The MC-LEF provides educational assistance and medical equipment to the children of fallen United States Marines and federal law enforcement personnel. The MC-LEF has awarded over $62 million in scholarships and other humanitarian assistance to over 3,500 children since it began in 1995.
