Mancini Beverage celebrated the launch of a partnership between Bulleit Bourbon and Narragansett Beer at Narragansett’s brewery in Providence on May 9. The event kicked off with a VIP hour for trade guests, fêting the new beer-and-shot program between the two companies that showcases Narragansett’s famous Lager and Bulleit Bourbon Frontier Whiskey. Guests enjoyed tastes of the Bulleit Frontier Whiskey line from the brand’s Woody Camper given by Bulleit’s Cultural Ambassador Adam Geissler and Touring Specialist Tony Romano paired with barbecue-themed food and several event cocktails featuring Bulleit Bourbon, along with more specialty drinks created by guest bartenders for the occasion. Bulleit Bourbon, a Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey produced at the Bulleit distillery in Lebanon, Kentucky, and the Bulleit distillery in Shelbyville, Kentucky, offers a high rye content and is aged for at least six years. Narragansett Beer started in 1888 and debuted its namesake lager in 1890. Originally located on Cranston Street off Route 10, Narragansett Brewing Company is now housed in Providence’s India Point Park, with its 18,000-square-foot waterfront brewery and taproom.
