
Union Bar + Burrito in East Providence debuted a new food and drinks menu as part of a Jan. 31 Tiki takeover event hosted in collaboration with Bully Boy Distillers. The venue’s team, including Jimmy James, Chef and Drink Slinger; Alyssa Venuti, Bar Consultant; and Aaliyah Johnson, Partner/Manager, created a variety of tropical-inspired, rum-based cocktails featuring the spirits line from the Massachusetts-based distillery. Showcased spirits included Bully Boy Distillers The Rum Cooperative Volume 1, The Rum Cooperative Volume 2, The Rum Cooperative Volume 3, Boston Rum and White Rum. Distributed in the state by Horizon Beverage – Copley division, Bully Boy Distillers, Boston’s first craft distillery founded in 2010, is owned and operated by brothers Will and Dave Willis, who found their inspiration for making small-batch spirits through a local tradition and a deep-rooted family history.
