A number of local hospitality professionals assembled for community service as part of the annual Imbibe and Campari Negroni Week on Sept. 14. Two groups volunteered throughout the day: one at Bridgeport Community Garden, with a reception following at Bridgeport’s Trattoria Avuchella, and another at the Family Wellness Center in Middletown, with a celebration including food and Negroni cocktails at Middletown’s Conspiracy. The event was led by Campari America State Manager Gary Dritschler, in coordination with Jen and Mark Sabo and Jason McClellan, as well as a variety of teams from local accounts across the state. Venues raised funds for No Kid Hungry and a host of charitable causes of each participating venue’s choice.
