Casamigos small-batch super-premium tequila was poured at a private event at Woodway Country Club in Darien on June 18. An ice luge provided a cool showcase for three tequila Casamigos expressions – Blanco, Reposado and Añejo – and its Casamigos Mezcal. Casamigos is made from the finest hand-selected 100% Weber blue agave, grown in the rich red clay soil and cool climate of the Highlands of Jalisco, Mexico. Made in Santiago Matatlán, Oaxaca, Mexico, Casamigos Mezcal is artisanal and crafted from 100% Espadín agaves. The tasting team educated guests on Casamigos, an award-winning brand launched in 2013 by actor George Clooney, nightlife entrepreneur Rande Gerber and property developer Mike Meldman, since acquired by Diageo in 2017.
