As part of its ongoing support, Connecticut Distributors, Inc. (CDI), took part in three ALS walks spanning across Connecticut, including Hartford, New Haven and Westport in October. The company said its commitment to supporting and raising awareness for the ALS Association’s Connecticut Chapter holds a special place within the company’s community efforts, driven by the profound loss of two colleagues to the disease: Tim Considine in 2012 and Jay Rice in 2014. “The collective efforts of all those who joined in walking to defeat ALS, also commonly referred to as Lou Gehrig’s disease, have contributed significantly to the resounding success of each event. CDI extends its heartfelt gratitude to its supplier partners, Pernod Ricard and Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey, for their unwavering support of both CDI and this vital cause,” said Maura Tancredi, Vice President of Human Resources, CDI, who also serves on the Board of Directors for the ALS Association’s CT Chapter.
