Connecticut Distributors, Inc. (CDI) began its CheersCT weekly Facebook Live events, which continued connecting brands and trade professionals from afar during the coronavirus pandemic, beginning April 2. A livestream on May 28 with Scrappy’s Bitters featuring Founder Miles Thomas and Director of Operations Kia Karimi, and local bartender Evan Parsons, marked its ninth event in the series, which will continue in lieu of in-person events. CheersCT has so far hosted representatives from Laphroaig, Angel’s Envy, Hendrick’s Gin, Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey, Tanteo Tequila, Jameson Irish Whiskey, 44° North Vodka and WhistlePig Rye Whiskey.
