Connecticut Distributors, Inc. (CDI), welcomed wines from Napa Valley’s Silver Oak family of brands to its premium portfolio on March 22, which includes its two sister wineries, Timeless and Twomey. Founded in 1972 by friends Ray Twomey and Duncan and Justin Meyer with the goal to focus on a single varietal, Cabernet Sauvignon, Silver Oak’s commitment to excellence extends through its recovery from a fire in 2006 to achieving the first LEED Platinum certification for a winery. Additionally, its Timeless Napa Valley honors Co-founder Ray Duncan and is crafted from grapes grown in the Soda Canyon Ranch terroir by Winemaker Nate Weis. Twomey, the explorative sibling winery of Silver Oak, offers a collection of world-class, small-batch Pinot Noirs and an estate Sauvignon Blanc. “Bringing Silver Oak, Timeless and Twomey into our portfolio is a privilege,” said John Slocum, President, CDI. “Their unparalleled dedication to winemaking and sustainable practices aligns perfectly with our values, and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to sell these magnificent wines.”
