Connecticut Distributors, Inc. (CDI), celebrated the Connecticut launch of Horse Soldier Bourbon during a sales meeting on Jan. 23. Mark Nutsch, Co-founder of Horse Soldier Bourbon and a member of the legendary U.S. Army Green Berets team known as the “Horse Soldiers,” led the sales team through a tasting and brand education. Handcrafted by Green Berets who answered the call after 9/11, each bottle is forged with steel from the World Trade Center, embodying a connection to history and a commitment to excellence, the company said. The team was guided through a tasting of Horse Soldier’s three bourbons: the bold and balanced Straight Bourbon Whiskey, the smooth Small Batch Bourbon Whiskey and the complex Barrel Strength Bourbon Whiskey. Nutsch shared his personal thoughts on each expression, offering insights into the meticulous care and dedication that goes into creating the spirits. Reflecting on the event, CDI President John Slocum said, “It is an honor to bring this incredible brand and its story of American history to the Connecticut market. We deeply thank Mark for sharing his story and bourbon with our team. Horse Soldier Bourbon is not just a product; it’s a testament to courage, resilience and the art of American distilling.”
