Connecticut Distributors, Inc. (CDI), continued its annual holiday tradition by collecting gifts and donations for the Sterling House Community Center in Stratford, leading a broader initiative during the 2023 holiday season. Through the charitable initiative, headed by CDI’s Pricing, Profit and Inventory Manager Andrea Labella, the company provided 206 gifts tailored to individual wishes, plus an additional 30 gift cards, so that parents could personally select presents for their children. The initiative culminated in the Annual Community Christmas program at the Sterling House, where 50 volunteers assembled to organize and distribute more than 3,000 toys, along with articles of clothing, hats, coats and mittens, which benefited more than 450 children in the Stratford area. “Team CDI’s involvement in this year’s Community Christmas event was not just a demonstration of their continued commitment to their community, but another bright example of our partnership with CDI to work together to uplift every member of our community,” said Amanda Meeson, Executive Director of Sterling House. “Their hard work and generous contributions were vital to our event and brought joy and abundance to close to 600 children in our community.” The Sterling House Resource Connection Program is a comprehensive, basic needs assistance program providing a wide range of services to individuals and families.
