
Connecticut Distributors, Inc. (CDI) welcomed wines from Lodi-based Michael David Winery at a September 7 sales meeting, which included circus-themed outdoor amusements after the education session. CDI is now the exclusive state distributor for the winery. Family-owned for six generations, the Napa Valley, California, winery is located in the Lodi appellation and is home to well-recognized brands including Freakshow, 7 Deadly Zins, Earthquake, Petite Petit, Inkblot and Rapture. Varietals produced under the Michael David Winery brand include Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, ancient vine Cinsault and petite Sirah. Michael David Winery is also renowned as the largest family-owned producer of zinfandel in the U.S.
