Connecticut Distributors, Inc. (CDI) hosted the last in its cocktail competition series Mixology Madness on April 10 at The Blind Pig in Hartford. The event brought together the six semifinalists from the various competitions that began January 30. Red Hook, Brooklyn-based Widow Jane Applewood Rye was the featured base spirit. Bartenders Bryce Hardy, Chelsea Solkowski, Jamie Oakes, Dylan Jefferis, Rebecca Json-Toft and Atilio Lopez showcased their creations, with Json-Toft taking the championship’s top slot.
