Jean Marc Roget, President and CEO of Chartreuse, visited Rhode Island on November 25, 2013 at Twin River Casino. This mysterious spirit has been around for over 400 years, and the herbal liqueur is still produced by Carthusian monks in the French Alps. The event was a rare opportunity to spend time with Roget, the expert on all things Chartreuse. He provided history of the monastery and brand to the group. Chartreuse is imported by Frederick Wildman and Sons, and available through M.S. Walker.
