Compass Box Scotch Whisky appointed Nishat Gupte as its new CEO and Neill Everitt as Chairman. Gupte succeeds Maurice Doyle to lead Compass Box’s strategy, operations and market development. He joins Compass Box following his nearly five-year tenure as founding CEO of Betty Buzz and Betty Booze. Prior, Gupte was Head of European Luxury and Alcoholic Beverage Investment Banking at Credit Suisse, where he led the sale of Aviation Gin to Diageo. Everitt’s decades of beverage leadership roles include Founder and Executive Director of Brockmans Gin Ltd. and Chairman of Rye River Brewing Company, Ireland’s leading craft brewer. Prior to Brockmans, he held executive positions with Stock Spirits Group, Allied Domecq PLC and British American Tobacco PLC. The company said that with “Everitt and Gupte at the helm, Compass Box is stepping into a new era of agility and focused execution.”
