Bruno Ceniccola, Owner of Branford-based Piu Facile Imports, showcased Italian red and white wines at the Jeffrey Osborne Celebrity Golf Classic in Portsmouth, Rhode Island from August 7-9. The Piu Facile portfolio consists of fine Italian wines from La Guardiense Winery, located in a small village in Guardia Sanframondi in the Province of Benevento, Campania region. Osborne, a Providence native and chart-topping R&B singer, songwriter and musician, hosts the annual event to benefit local non-profit organizations supporting music and the arts for children and families.
On September 4, Piu Facile Imports sponsored The Upbeat Cancer Comedy Night, benefiting the Joe Andruzzi Foundation, to raise money to support cancer research. Andruzzi, a former New England Patriots offensive guard, created the foundation after his own successful battle with cancer.
