
The Connecticut Wine Festival, part of the Connecticut Wine Trail Passport Program, took place at the Goshen Fairgrounds on July 21-22. Approximately 4,800 visitors tasted samples from Connecticut vineyards, attended wine seminars, participated in a grape stomp and shopped local artisans during the two-day wine festival. Participating vineyards included Bishop’s Orchards Winery in Guilford, DiGrazia Vineyards in Brookfield, Holmberg Orchards & Winery in Gales Ferry, Hopkins Vineyard in Warren, Jonathan Edwards Winery in North Stonington, Jones Winery in Shelton, Sunset Meadow Vineyards in Goshen, Paradise Hills Vineyard & Winery in Wallingford, Priam Vineyards in Colchester, Sharpe Hill Vineyard in Pomfret, Taylor Brooke Winery in Woodstock and White Silo Farm & Winery in Sherman.
