As fall officially began, Middletown’s Conspiracy conjured up a fun, fall drinks menu with a creative twist: original craft cocktails with a Tarot card theme. The venue offers more than 20 choices of original craft cocktails named for different cards in the Tarot deck. Cocktails include The Hermit, an Elote Old Fashioned made with Mellow Corn Whiskey, Hella Bitters Smoked Chili and milk-washed clarified lime syrup; The Devil: Jägermeister, Bigallet China China Liqueur and lime; Death: Perry’s Tot Navy Strength Gin, Blank vodka spiced, Hamilton 151 Overproof Rum, Mezcal Union Uno, lime, grapefruit, spiced black currant syrup, Angostura Bitters and herbsaint; The Emperor: Perry’s Tot Navy Strength Gin (lime leaf infused), Ube Cordial, Luxardo Bitter Bianco, Amaro di Angostura, Bigallet China China Amaro and The Magician: Barbancourt Rhum, Suntory Whisky Toki, apricot liqueur, black sesame orgeat, togarashi syrup and lemon, with a touch of tropical spice. Cocktails from the Tarot menu will be available through mid-December, enabling the team to showcase new flavors and brands to consumers. Conspiracy was recently given the distinction of Best Cocktails in Connecticut Magazine’s Best of Connecticut 2021 Readers’ Choice survey.
