The Connecticut Brewers Guild hosted a sold-out first annual Connecticut Craft Brew Fest at the Oakdale Theatre in Wallingford on February 17. Beer from 47 local breweries was available for tasting. A VIP hour gave a limited number of guests the chance for early entrance into the festival to talk with brew masters, buy Connecticut Brewers Guild merchandise and sample exclusive vintage and barrel aged brews not available during general admission. Food was available for purchase at the concession stands and Cleo Blue performed live music during the day. All proceeds benefited the Connecticut Brewers Guild as it continues to support the craft beer movement in Connecticut.
