By November 28, 2020Connecticut, Top News

Decoy Limited wines new to the Connecticut market: 2018 Decoy Limited Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, 2018 Decoy Limited Napa Valley Red Wine and 2019 Decoy Limited Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir.

New from the Duckhorn Portfolio of wines by way of Slocum & Sons, Decoy Limited gives retailers and consumers something new for the gift-giving season: super-luxury wine at an accessible price point. Decoy has a long-established reputation for delivering exceptional-quality wines. The new Napa Valley and Sonoma Coast wines in the blue label line are the latest among Decoy’s commitment to producing attractively priced wines made from exceptional vineyard sources, made by Decoy Limited Winemaker Dana Epperson. 2018 Decoy Limited Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon offers the complexity of Napa Valley with grower and estate fruit sourced from Rutherford, Yountville, Atlas Peak, Stags Leap, St. Helena and Calistoga. 2018 Decoy Limited Napa Valley Red Wine is crafted using grapes from some of the most acclaimed Napa Valley vineyards in Rutherford, Yountville and Oakville for a bold and luxurious wine. 2019 Decoy Limited Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir uses grapes from the Sonoma Coast, including the winery’s Running Creek estate vineyard, for a silky and sophisticated wine with soaring flavors of blackberry, cassis, cedar and spice. The three Decoy Limited reds will be followed up by Decoy Limited Chardonnay in early 2021.
