Diageo celebrated the launch of Roe & Co Blended Irish Whiskey at its Diageo Bar in Norwalk on March 4. Rocco Vitulli, Distributor Manager, Diageo, discussed the brand with trade guests and Anthony DeSerio, Account Consultant, Diageo Reserve, gave a demonstration creating specialty cocktails featuring Roe & Co, which were served along with pints of Guinness. Created by Master Blender Caroline Martin, Roe & Co is a blend of malt whiskey and grain whiskey, aged in bourbon casks, honoring famed Irish distiller George Roe. The whiskey offers notes of soft spice and mellow spun sugar along with warm hints of spiced pears and woody vanilla.
