Dichello Distributors welcomed Heineken Silver on Feb. 10 with a visit from Michael LaVigne, Senior Market Manager – Connecticut and Rhode Island. Lavigne and the Dichello team reviewed the new brew with a formal sales presentation and educational tasting of Michelob Ultra, Corona Premier and Heineken Silver. Heineken Silver is a 4% ABV lager with just 95 calories, crafted using an ice-cold brewing process at -1°C for a crisp flavor and subtle finish. Heineken Silver is brewed with the same ingredients used across the brand’s 149-year heritage—water, barley malt, hop extract and ale yeast—but offers a lighter style with a lower alcohol content. Crafting a lower-ABV beer meets a growing trend across all age groups for a lighter and lower-alcohol beverage. By brewing Heineken Silver at -1°C, more cold haze is allowed to form and be filtered out, removing proteins and rough-tasting tannins and leaving a refreshing taste.
