Empson USA announced new strategic appointments in March. Giovanni Caveggia joins the importer as the Director of Portfolio Management, a newly created key role within the organization. With more than 25 years of experience in the growth of Italian brands, he will directly engage with Italian wineries, spearheading the expansion of Empson USA’s Italian portfolio. Prior to joining the company, Caveggia held the position of Director of Italian Brands – Heritage Division at Winebow Imports and served as the NY/NJ Wholesale Manager for Vias Imports. Empson USA also strategically expanded its presence across the United States by appointing several new Regional Managers, notably Cameron Dauterive, who will serve Connecticut, Maine and Rhode Island. He was formerly a Sales Representative at Hartley & Parker Limited, Inc., in Connecticut.
