Farm Fresh Rhode Island will host its annual Local Food Fest, a celebration of local growers and food producers, on the lawn of Newport’s Castle Hill Inn on August 13. Sponsored by Castle Hill Inn and Newport Restaurant Group, the event will feature freshly made seasonal fare prepared by local chefs paired with cocktails and local wine and beer selections, while guests enjoy the view of the bay and Newport Bridge. Proceeds will benefit Pawtucket’s Farm Fresh Rhode Island, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting local farms and increasing community access to locally grown foods.
