Farmington Polo Club celebrated Mionetto’s 25th anniversary in the U.S. by showcasing Mionetto Prosecco Brut DOC Treviso, Mionetto Cartizze DOCG and Mionetto Prosecco Rosé DOC Millesimato for guests for the 2022 summer season. The prosecco producer dates back to 1887 and has a history of making award-winning wines. Two of Mionetto’s Prestige offerings were available by the glass for polo attendees. Mionetto Prosecco Brut DOC Treviso offers an intense fruity bouquet with a hint of golden apple for a very dry, fresh, light and well-balanced sparkling wine and Mionetto Prosecco Rosé DOC Millesimato offers a fruity bouquet with notes of honey, berries and citrus, well-balanced acidity with refreshing notes of red berries and grapefruit, and elegant fine bubbles. During a Sept. 10 brand activation to honor the anniversary, Mionetto USA also showcased a tasting station and highlighted its newest imports — Mionetto Prosecco Rosé in 375-ml half bottles — which pours two glasses. Polo spectators enjoyed tastes and education about Mionetto Prosecco from State Manager Douglas MacLeod, as well as custom Aperol spritzes in to-go pouches made with the brand’s Prosecco Brut DOC Treviso. Mionetto is distributed in Connecticut by Slocum & Sons.
