Fine Terroir Selections offers five new French imports from Domaine Maire & Fils, whose winemaking roots date back to the 16th century. Its Grandes Parcelles selections showcase the best from Côtes du Jura, which became an Appellation d’Origine Contrôlée in 1937, a region united with Burgundy by the River Saône. Domaine Maire & Fils Arbois, Côtes du Jura and L’Étoile wines each express the unique terroir of the eastern France region, whose soils contain marine sediments enriching the marls, clays and limestones dating back to the Jurassic period. Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Burgundy grape varieties are among those grown in Jura. With limited quantities available, its new wines to the state include Domaine Maire & Fils Arbois Vin Jaune, Arbois Vignes Aux Anes Trousseau, Grand Héritage Tradition, Grand Minéral Savagnin Blanc and L’Étoile Chardonnay.
