
Fruitful Mixology, in collaboration with its distributor Brescome Barton, hosted an industry night and cocktail competition at Hartford’s Tisane Euro-Asian Café on Aug. 29. Guests enjoyed drink specials featuring Fruitful Mixology mixers, prepared by Guest Bartender Stephanie Cohen and the Tisane bar team, along with games and grilling on Tisane’s patio, while DJ Gabe Gandres provided the musical backdrop. Twelve local bartenders competed, creating original cocktails for a panel of blind judges using Fruitful Mixology bar mixers with flavors, including Strawberry, Clementine, Blackberry, Coconut, Apricot, Blueberry, Pink Guava, Mission Fig, Rhubarb, Mango, Papaya and Passionfruit. The winners were Sarah Frances, Toro Loco, in first place; Stephanie Cohen, Gastropark, in second place; and Corinne Ferrante, Blind Pig Pizzeria, in third place. Each winner received a two-hour private cruise with guests down the Connecticut River on the Fruitful Yacht. Fruitful Mixology is a new brand of bar mixers locally made in East Hartford, with each flavor made with fresh ingredients and no artificial flavors or colors.
