
Local food and beverage offerings were featured at the Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce (GNHCC) 225th Anniversary Summer Celebration Bash at the Canal Dock Boathouse in New Haven on August 27. Guests enjoyed tastes from a number of New Haven-based restaurants, including Union League Cafe, Olmo, Shell & Bones Oyster Bar and Grill, Shake Shack, Brazi’s Italian Restaurant, Sally’s Apizza, Bear’s Smokehouse at The Stack, Basta Trattoria, Café George by Paula, Tata’s Restaurant, Doughlicious, The Anchor Spa and Atelier Florian. Beverage selections included beer from Black Hog Brewing and New England Brewing Co., wine selections from Opici Family Distributing and The Wine Thief, and cocktail creations from Ordinary. Local band Boogie Chillun provided music during the evening as guests enjoyed the venue’s waterfront views.
