Grey Sail Brewing Offers Fall Lineup

By September 23, 2023Rhode Island, Top News

Grey Sail Brewing’s Rising Hope Fruited Pale Ale, Autumn Winds and Heavy Seas Beer collaboration Hoptoberfest.

Westerly’s Grey Sail Brewing of Rhode Island added new offerings to its fall lineup. At 5% ABV, Rising Hope Fruited Pale Ale, an orange blossom West Coast pale ale, offers bold flavors of Cryo hops, vibrant citrus and subtle floral undertones. This is the sixth year Grey Sail is representing Rhode Island with Brewing Funds the Cure to support the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation, with all proceeds benefiting the nonprofit. Crisper weather calls for Autumn Winds, Grey Sail’s seasonal fest beer. This malt-forward lager captures the spirit of Oktoberfest with its rich, toasty flavors, balanced sweetness and satisfying finish. Additionally, Grey Sail also teamed up with Heavy Seas Beer to elevate the usual Oktoberfest profile to new heights. With a heavy dose of hopping, Hoptoberfest has notes of citrus, pine and tropical fruit. Opened by husband-and-wife team Alan and Jennifer Brinton nearly 12 years ago in the converted 1920s-era Westerly Macaroni Factory, Grey Sail now offers more than 10 core brews, along with a variety of seasonal offerings. Both Grey Sail Brewing and its sister company, South County Distillers, are distributed in Rhode Island via McLaughlin & Moran, Inc.
