Westerly’s Grey Sail Brewing launched a new flagship beer, Little Sister. The Session IPA is the brewery’s sequel to Captain’s Daughter, another signature brew. Brewed under the direction of Owners Alan and Jennifer Brinton and Head Brewer Michelle Kirms, Little Sister is a 4.8% ABV, made with Mosaic and Citra hops, and is full of flavor and aroma. “Grey Sail is excited to share Little Sister with our fans,” said Alan Brinton. “Little Sister is a great balance to our lineup, offering a lighter option without sacrificing depth and flavor.” A launch party on September 27 brought beer fans together for a first taste, music, food and giveaways. Events and tastings were held during October in celebration, including tap nights and in-store tastings at Back 40, Flip Side Pinball Bar, Dick’s World of Wines, Surf Club, Thorpe’s Wines & Spirits, Chepachet Village Wine & Spirits and Haxton’s Tollgate Liquor, among many others.
