
Stratford’s Hartley & Parker Limited, Inc., collaborated with team members from Tito’s Handmade Vodka for a community garden building effort at Reservoir Community Farm in Bridgeport on Oct. 14. United through the Tito’s Block to Block initiative, 40 volunteers from Hartley & Parker and Tito’s took part in the daylong volunteer event. Through Tito’s Block to Block program, Tito’s Handmade Vodka has partnered with nonprofits and volunteers in major cities across the country to create community gardens and farms, making fresh food accessible to urban communities where healthy food is often scarce. Reservoir Community Farm is a Bridgeport-based urban farm that produces thousands of pounds of produce to be grown and sold to the community each year. The farm also works with local youth, hosting educational school field trips and its own Youth Leadership Program.
