Highclere Castle Gin hosted a cocktail party welcoming the Earl of Carnarvon of Highclere Castle at the Wadsworth Mansion in Middletown on July 26. Hosted by Dr. Peter Abbott, OBE, Her Majesty’s Consul General to New England, and Adam von Gootkin, CEO, Highclere Castle Spirits, the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Party celebrated the 8th Earl of Carnarvon’s visit to the United States and his partnership in the creation of Highclere Castle Gin. Co-founded by Connecticut-based spirits entrepreneur von Gootkin with the Earl and Countess of Carnarvon of Highclere Castle in the United Kingdom, the event celebrated the partnership between the gin’s American and British partners while honoring Queen Elizabeth, who is the first British Monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee, marking 70 years of service. Held on the sweeping grounds of the Wadsworth Mansion, guests enjoyed signature event cocktails featuring Highclere Castle Gin blended by Highclere Castle Gin Mixologists Nico Cabral and Tiffany Nevers.
