Waterbury’s Highland Brass Co., founded by partners Dimitrios Zahariadis, Corey Bonderenko and John Boudreau, hosted several holiday events during November and December. Festivities kicked off with the opening of the Christmas-themed “Miracle” pop-up bar, a global event that picks select venues to offer its brand of holiday decorations, costumed bartenders and special seasonal cocktails. Highland Brass ran the event every night from November 24 through Christmas Eve, as well as hosting a concurrent toy drive to benefit Stocking Stuffers. The team also hosted a Christmas Kegs N’ Eggs toy drive on Christmas Eve, where in addition to donating toys and gift cards, attendees enjoyed bacon, egg and cheese sandwiches on Brooklyn Bakery donuts and Litchfield Distillery Bourbon-made Egg Nog.
