Highland Imports continued its launch of Trotamundos wines in the state with a wine luncheon at Fayerweather Yacht Club’s Lighthouse Grill in Bridgeport on May 20. Trotamundos Winemaker César Baeza presented his new line of wines and spoke about how the varied climates of Chile influence his wine making. Guests were treated to a six-course lunch by Lighthouse Grill, each paired with a different Trotamundos wine. Made by Baeza and fellow winemaker Miguel Besoain, known from New York’s Brotherhood wines, the Maipo Chile line blends their experience to create wines that reflect the winemakers’ unique partnership. Trotamundos wines are offered in the state through Highland Imports.
