
Elm City Social in New Haven hosted an Ugly Sweater Party and Bartending Competition featuring Roe & Co. Irish Whiskey on Dec. 14. Five local bartenders competed for their chance to win top honor and prizes while wearing their best, or worst, holiday-themed attire. Genna Bestmann, Bar Manager, The Owl Shop took home the first-place prize; Raasikh Muhammad Joseph, Bar Manager, Anchor Spa won second place; and Sean Richard, Mecha Noodle Bar and Jermale Foster, Elm City Social tied for third place. Crafted in Dublin, Roe & Co Blended Irish Whiskey uses a blend of malt and grain whiskey aged in bourbon casks, imparting a smooth texture with flavors of sweet fruit, vanilla and spice; distributed in Connecticut by Mancini Beverage – Northeast Beverage of CT.
