
Horizon Beverage celebrated the launch of Bully Boy Distillers’ new Straight Bourbon Whiskey during a special general sales meeting at Iron Works Restaurant in Warwick on March 8. Bully Boy Distillers’ Andrew Greenleaf, RI and CT Market Manager, and Will Willis, Co-founder and Head of Sales, led a tasting and education session with Liam Maloney, Origin Craft Spirits Manager, Horizon Beverage Co., followed by lunch and signature Bully Boy Distillers Straight Bourbon Whiskey cocktails from the Iron Works Restaurant team. The 95-proof/47.5% ABV spirit from the Boston-based brand is pot-distilled using a mash bill of 61% corn, 30% malted wheat, 9% malted barley and a unique yeast strain, which contributes to its fruit and floral notes. The wheated bourbon is then aged in 53-gallon medium toasted and three charred white oak barrels for a minimum of four years. The Bully Boy line is distributed in Rhode Island by Horizon Beverage Co. – Origin division.
