Local hospitality professionals assembled for community service on Sept. 19 as part of Campari and Imbibe magazine’s Negroni Week. Co-hosted by Campari, in partnership with the United States Bartenders’ Guild (USBG) National Charity Foundation, the fourth annual Campari National Day of Service initiative encourages bartenders, trade and distributor partners to give back to their communities. A group volunteered throughout the day in charitable missions at Mystic’s Coogan Farm, where teams refurbished a play area and cleared trails, led by Victoria Tenzyk, The Mariner. The day’s work was followed by a happy hour at Trattoria Amalfi in Olde Mistick Village, sponsored by Campari and the USBG. The food harvested by Coogan Farm benefits several food banks in New London County. The volunteer event initiatives were led by Campari America’s Gary Dritschler, State Manager, and Anne Louise Marquis, National Portfolio Brand Ambassador, in coordination with a variety of teams from local accounts across the state. Venues raised funds for a host of charitable causes of each participating venue’s choice.
