
Hotel Viking in Newport debuted its Ketel One Botanical Spritz Garden for the summer set within its One Bellevue Patio. Using Ketel One Botanical’s Cucumber & Mint, Peach & Orange Blossom or Grapefruit & Rose, guests enjoyed a custom and cooling spritz. Each of the 30% ABV Ketel One Botanical expressions, which have 73 calories and 0 carbs per serving, are created from the award-winning Dutch-imported vodka distilled with real botanicals, 100% non-GMO grain and infused with natural fruit essences. Each botanical essence is individually and naturally obtained through innovative extraction methods and distillation processes for the freshest, cleanest and most crisp taste possible. Spritzes were paired with Executive Chef Patrick Popores’ shareable plates, created to enjoy from the historic Newport location. The Garden Patio offers outdoor seating with an advantageous view of iconic Bellevue Avenue. Ketel One Vodka and Ketel One Botanical are distributed by Mancini Beverage – Providence Beverage division.

Ordonez is one of Hotel Viking’s J-1 students and food runners. “A part of the functionality of the Spritz bar came with training service team members to build the spritzes as a way to facilitate the hospitality experience,” said Christina Mercado, Assistant Director of Food and Beverage, Hotel Viking.
