COAST restaurant at Ocean House hosted a dinner featuring Napa Valley winery, Hourglass, coupled with farm-to-table cuisine from guest Chef Nathan Rich, of Vermont’s Twin Farms on Sept. 9. The Farm + Vine pairing dinner featured cuisine prepared by Rich in collaboration with COAST’s Executive Chef Matt Voskuil and Chef de Cuisine, William Rietzel III, with each course tailored to pair with a select Hourglass Wine. Guests tasted Hourglass Blueline Estate Merlot, Hourglass Blueline Estate Cabernet Sauvignon and Hourglass III Proprietary Blend throughout the evening. With vineyards in Calistoga and St. Helena, California, Hourglass Estate is a family-owned winery specializing in limited production and collectable wines. It was named for the hourglass-shaped terrain on which the winery lies and harvests its grapes.
