The Savory Grape in East Greenwich hosted Icon Imports LLC for an in-store tasting of showcased wines on Aug. 30. Icon Imports Sales Representative Tori Studley showcased Casas del Mar Sparkling Rosé, Château Roquefort Sauvignon Blanc, Chacabuco Malbec, Masseria Borgo dei Trulli Primitivo Rosato, Alessandro Rivetto Langhe Rosso, Antonio Mazzella Ischia Per e Palummo and Francesca Moscato d’Asti among wines. Icon Imports’ portfolio is now found in the Brand Index and Price Listing of the Rhode Island Beverage Journal. The company serves as an importer and wholesale distributor of international, domestic and boutique wine and spirits. Icon Imports works with artisanal producers from Argentina, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Korea, New Zealand, Portugal, Spain and the United States. Under the new ownership of Kenny Lafauci, Icon is expanding its distribution across the state, adding new brands to its portfolio of fine wine, sake and soju. Lafauci said, “We are actively looking for opportunities to partner with retailers and restaurants to support in-store tastings, wine dinners and special events.”
