
The Red Door in Providence hosted an Industry Night with cocktails featuring Pawtucket-based Rhode Island Spirits on March 28. Guests enjoyed cocktails including the Gin ‘N Tonic, featuring Rhodium Forager’s Gin; the Sans Espresso Martini, featuring Rhodium Coffee & Black Walnut Vodka; the Red Gallus, with Rhodium Rhode Island Red Cranberry/Cherry Vodka; and the Free Lady in Pawtucket, featuring Rhodium Gin. Co-owned by Cathy Plourde and Kara Larson, all spirits from the Rhode Island spirits line are crafted from local fresh, farmed or foraged ingredients and are gluten-free, organic, non-GMO and vegan, with all in the lineup but one certified kosher by RI Kosher. Bartender Christy Guerrero of pop-up cocktail program, BAS PVD, collaborated with the mixology team at the Red Door to create the evening’s specialty cocktails. The line is distributed in the state by Horizon Beverage Co. of Rhode Island.
