Jacob’s Pickles
The SoNo Collection
100 North Water Street
Norwalk, CT
Jacob’s Pickles is Southern comfort food “done right,” with staple dishes such as buttermilk fried chicken, mac and cheese, biscuits and gravy, and, of course, its namesake pickles. Launched in 2011, Jacob’s Pickles became a New York staple, expanding with additional locations, including on South Norwalk’s Water Street. An extensive beverage program includes local and regional craft brews—including a Welcome to Connecticut beer flight—and a range of wine selections with a bubbly or two. The craft cocktail menu features seasonal, signature creative offerings with ingredients designed to showcase fresh flavors to complement any dish and accommodate any palate. Locally produced spirits also shine, as this month’s featured cocktail recipe outlines.

Method: Shake all ingredients together and dirty pour into a tall glass. Straining will cause you to lose the delicious jam! Garnish with a generous mint sprig and another spoon of apricot jam.
“The Norwalk on the Wild Side cocktail was put together with the idea of having something unique and exclusive for our newest South Norwalk location, one that stays true to the Jacob’s Pickles cocktail philosophy of using local spirits and fresh ingredients mixed in a way that’s easy to enjoy by as many people as possible,” said Selina Ardan, Beverage Director. “Taking inspiration from our most popular Jam Jar cocktail, the Norwalk on the Wild Side utilizes local SoNo 1420 Vo Vodka and apricot jam and cordial to make a fruity and refreshing cocktail perfect for patio sipping.”
